Top of the Pops BBC4

I was working at a well known High Street burger restaurant that begins with M around this time and absolutely loathed it, but these songs on the radio there made it just about bearable and are some of my all time favourites too!
This isn't the BBC, you can state it was McDowell's.

I get what you are saying … but T4 and TOTP were quite different beasts. Unfortunately the BBC didn't quite get that …
I don't think one flop show invalidated the rest of his experience in youth TV though. He'd also produced other programmes for the BBC. I believe he was a producer as well as a presenter on The O Zone for instance. I didn't like what he did to the show either, but I can understand why on paper he was a good fit.

Benidorm's Jake Canuso back as a dancer yet again, this time with Clock. His TOTP career was varied and certainly lasted a long time!

I don't remember Wotshername - Danny Dyer's sister in EastEnders - being in the Something About the Way You Look Tonight video. I'd have known her from Grange Hill at this point, then This Life.

Much as I love Tina Moore's Never Gonna Let You Go, did we really need a repeat of it from weeks ago as the opening performance?!

I'm a bit behind by a few episodes but I just wanted to say I can only imagine what it is to experience those garage sounds for the first time in 1997, it sounds so ahead of its time in the best way.
