I hope there's interviews with Mark Franklin and Tony Dortie too. After a shaky start I think they're both good presenters. You can see why they ditched the rest and kept those two.

Top of the Pops Big Hits re-opens the BBC vaults to showcase and celebrate the biggest and best performances of 1991.

There’s some massive pop hits from the likes of Right Said Fred, Color Me Badd and Chesney Hawkes. Seal goes solo and a little Crazy, Mariah Carey shows off her extraordinary vocal range, James encourage everyone to Sit Down and there’s plenty more signs and sounds of the times from Crystal Waters, The Mock Turtles, Oleta Adams, Color Me Badd, Nomad, Cathy Dennis, PM Dawn, Massive Attack, The KLF, the frankly bizarre one-off appearance by Nirvana, and that single TOTP performance from Bryan Adams and Everything I Do that seemed to be in permanent rotation as the show moved from Television Centre to Elstree.

There goes my hopes for them including Kylie’s recorded but unbroadcasted What Do I Have To Do performance.

I think if they do decide to air it, it might be more worth saving it for a Kylie at the BBC special.

Shame they aren't showing Amy Grant's studio performance of Baby Baby in Big Hits 1991 which we missed due to the bloody Doors. I always think they should use that show as an opportunity to mop up any notable skipped performances.

I see that Jason Donovan is back on TOTP tonight. I had to look up what it was (Mission Of Love).
I didn't realise that he had switched from PWL so soon.
Only reaching Nr.26! From the best-selling album of 1989 to that -- and worse than all of his PWL singles...

I really didn't understand the decision to release that. I thought the reason for leaving PWL was to avoid becoming the new Cliff Richard.

He did appear for it, unfortunately & had the exclusive on TOTP for the single that followed it.
