Tori Amos - Ocean to Ocean + World Tour

  1. Manchester was incredible! Opening and closing with some of my favourite tracks and the new songs slotted in really nicely. A great first-time Tori concert.

  2. Might be one of my favorite China performances? Jon's guitar adds such a great atmosphere and the whole tone is much more somber.

  3. Agreed, it was an absolute show stopper last night, and some of the best vocals I’ve heard from her in the last 10+ years. Such a special tour, she’s a marvel.

  4. It goes to show that sometimes the best performances happen during relatively “safe” songs or sets. It’s so much fun to see her dust off rarities and deep cuts when following along from home. But honestly my favorite Tori concerts look relatively boring if you were just reading them off See the recent performance of Selkie as another example

  10. Liquid Diamonds, Doughnut Song and Butterfly on the same set is to die for
  11. A bit odd that she has thus far neglected the best track from her latest, Speaking With Trees. But the choices are inspired overall.

  14. Welp this was extremely emotional and an incredible rendition. Any fears about her voice have been relieved by the last few shows.

  15. I love the setlists so far. The spread of songs is amazing. I don’t regret not seeing her really, but am just happy to see which of the “girls” she’s bringing out. Mostly faves.

  17. I loathe the album version but the band version she did in 09 was pretty good

  18. Honestly thinking about it, the way she transformed 'China' for me this tour she could do wonders with 'Ireland'.

  19. These setlists are so much better than the one she did in Milan the one time I saw her (Geraldines tour). It's all 10s. *sigh*
