True crime hookers, if you haven't already, watch Little Miss Innocent: PASSION, POISON, PRISON (I can't at that name). It's on Hulu and it's amazing. Only three episodes filled with twists and the boyfriend's

password being adamisgay is such an obvi giveaway that it was her. I MEAN COME ON, her explanation after was so bizarre - it was giving sociopath! I cannot believe there was a mistrial when her DNA was literally on the murder “weapon”!

Anne Hathaway could play her, if they decide to turn this into a film/series.

Ooh funnily enough I had this on in the background yesterday but I didn’t pay much attention to it as didn’t think it was gonna be good. But I’m gonna go back and rewatch properly now (it’s on Disney plus for UK huns)

Let me know what you think!

Omg thank you for recommending and making me go back and watch it. It was wild.

Kaityln was definitely involved
… but I’m kinda suspicious of the dad too - between him dating Mary’s sister (I read that the neighbours had seen them together before the death too) and then having her body cremated immediately idk. And like the sisters doubting him too, which in turn would jeopardise their own relationship with their other sister. Idk something just ain’t sitting right. I need another deep dive on this case tbh.

Kaitlyn is definitely guilty because she acts so suspicious. The way she tried to answer that question about why she searched for poison on her phone NN

Oh agreed! She was so sketchy whenever they challenged her on anything.

But I feel like there’s more to the story with dad idk

I honestly think the dad just had an affair and that was it. It was not like they found any evidence linking him to the murder.

I think you’re right… but it’s just so odd to me you’d want to have your spouse, who was murdered, cremated so quickly.

And apparently the levels of colchicine were higher in her Mary’s body after she was brought to hospital (I know Kaityln visited them in the hospital so I guess she could have slipped her another dose).

Also, Bill supposedly has a history with colchichine and is quite knowledgeable about it (he used to grow marijuana or something using it)

Not to mention, Mary’s sisters hatred for him and insistence that he’s responsible. There’s just a lot of odd family dynamics going on.

Idk. I feel like maybe Kaitlyn could have potentially been a pawn for the family/Bill.
But she was definitely involved whether she did it herself or was coerced.

Fascinating case either way.

Just started episode one, it's good so far eventho we knew much of everything so far.

The Chameleon Killer is one of the craziest cases of all-time! At one time she was the most wanted woman in the world. She would take on other people’s identities, including men. She murdered for them too. She taunted authorities. She took her secrets to her grave. Her wanted posters still give people nightmares. People still don’t know the truth about Elaine Parent.

Running currently in the UK. It’ll be on in the US next month:

I binged this in one go and it was an amazing ride. I will say, the ending disappointed me. I find my biggest disappointment when it comes to true crime series falls with poor police work. This was yet another case where they dropped the ball in a big way.

I couldn't even finish the second of this two-parter. Feels a bit below HBO. The murderer at the center of this story, nor her personal story, are remotely interesting. It's basically a really dull profile of a Boomer grandmother who had a somewhat difficult childhood and a gambling addiction and who unexpectedly murdered.

The headlines about the 'killer grandmother from Minnesota' were more interesting than her actual story.

I'm on the second episode of this Sancho case and his father is truly a POS, I'm sorry. The lack of compassion and faking it while defending the son and making borderline racist remarks about the Thai cops. GROSS.

And the gen pub being on Sancho's family side? Really? Your son confessed to the crime - MULTIPLE times. He bought equipment before murdering this man (caught on camera). He also cut up the victim's body and disposed it all over dump sites. What's not clicking?

People on Ancestry are still finding out a lot. She was married to a guy in the Netherlands at some point. She was back home when her mother died in Florida. The murder of Beverly McGowan happened to coincide with this. She was in the area. I wonder if the man she said was her brother was her ex-husband. There is still so much to uncover. A person on Reddit who was reading about her found the address of the house she shot herslef in - he was sitting in it! He bought it and had no idea. Can you imagine?

I just watched Sweet Bobby on Netflix. It's a strange story. It's a bit long and takes a while to get going and like most of these true crime docs it plays out the story with far too much social media screening and 'click click click' typing and 'bing' message received noises, and the viewer probably finishes it with a sense of 'but why?' but it's still worth a watch.

I feel bad for saying it, but the most shocking part of Sweet Bobby was how dumb that lady was.

Sorry, I know that’s horrible but c’mon now.

I get what you mean. She comes across well.

I feel like anyone who lets an online relationship without actually meeting once in those 9 years or ever having video calls (unless I missed something and Simran was able to fake video calls as Bobby?) ought to, at some point much much earlier than 9 years, realise that it's not a legitimate relationship and something is amiss.

And also, someone who has been shot and is on witness protection would be enough to make me see red flags and end it there and then. Why even put yourself in danger?

I feel sorry for Kirat, she is a victim of a cruel and pointless trick, and I don't mean to judge her if that's how this is coming across, but at the same time common sense (and maybe friends/family?) should have kicked in a bit sooner.

Simran would always keep the camera off during their video calls as it was too ‘dangerous’.

But the fact that she actually met him out at that club and he had no idea who she was yet that didn’t raise her eyebrows. Not to mention, that she would have heard his voice but was still fooled by Simran’s female voice.

And when she goes to Bobby’s house at the end and he’s like I don’t know who you are… this isn’t me. And Simran is texting her as ‘Bobby’ whilst he’s in her presence and she still thinks it’s him texting her from the bathroom. Like, wtf.

But yeah I don’t wanna judge too harshly and I guess it happened before ‘catfishing’ was really a thing. Poor girl tho.

In her defence, she thought it was Bobby's wife Sanj making the calls from the bathroom. But still ....!

I get why people are fooled by some relationships (I even had to point out to my sister many years back that her fiancé wasn't who she thought he was), but this went on for 9 years!!! Most people would have registered something wasn't right and ended it after a few weeks.
