UK Entry 2025

Something with a lot of orchestration I reckon and vocals that won't quit.

We've done dance pop to death in recent years and, Space Man excepted, everything else has been some tame Magic FM cut.

The song needs to have an outstanding/dramatic/emotional live moment…that’s the ingredient we’ve missed the last couple of years. Thinking of France stepping away from the mic with an enormous vocal; Loreen hitting massive notes as the panini press rose; Nemo moving from flawless opera to rap etc.

I’m not sure that we should send a singer/heritage act who is past their career peak. I’d focus on up and coming acts with exciting vocals instead.

Maybe someone from The Voice? Slimane was from the French version of that show and look how that turned out for France. Of course, with the right song. Mon Amour was genetically engineered to show off his entire skill set and range while still retaining an easy to hum melody. That also helped him.
