I mean I still think Jessie J doing a Secret Love Song pt2 rip off would win by a mileEw that sounds like a ballad. I hope not.

Yep agree with everything herePlease no. I suppose it could be Sandy Thom or Amy McDonald to tick the Scottish box which would be even worse. We have some brilliant, exciting Scottish acts who would be so much better.
That Franz Ferdinand song is... fine? Like it's nice enough and a good track (agree it's the high point of the new album) which I could see people liking and streaming, but it goes absolutely nowhere from beginning to end which was a pretty major issue with our last two entries being one level. The lack of build and 'moment' in a song with a strong and dependable live vocalist needs to be tackled this year if we actually want to connect with the juries and on the night casuals and get some proper points. It also doesn't have the sort of immediate catchiness to it as acts like The Roop created in a similarish lane.
If it is our track it's going to get lost and forgotten among other entries very quickly on the night I fear.
Our entry is a Traitors contestant (Scottish castle/two reveals).
Imagine!
You can apply for the next series of The Traitors, if that interests you!Was something supposed to be announced on this? A flurry of online teasing and then nothing
Kinda sad there was so much hype around the Olly reveal on Strictly for 2024 to this year still being radio silence.

Thank goodness that song would have suffered by being forgotten on the night. Some will be pleased to know the person who shared those clues on X has said it is NOT Franz Ferdinand.

I just don't want to hear our entry described as being "radio friendly" or having "chart potential"
