UK Entry 2025

It’s such a random misshaped song it will just not appeal to general voters. But hope I’m proven wrong. I thought Dizzy was a pop and potential winner.

Team UK every year. Good luck girls!

I'm flip flopping roughly every 12 hours from this is absolutely horrible and definitely a bottom 5, to wild optimism that this is really going to pop and do surprisingly well.

I'm believing that with such a talented group, they'll perform the hell out of this and demand some votes. And even further, it's totally different and could be very memorable, it might really surprise and get towards top 10?!

The Jurors will give them points if they nail the vocals, like Sam Ryder did.

As for the general public, it depends if they like a musical type of song so we shall see. I believe the performance and staging will sell the song better to them.

Yeah and you can see how Nemo inspired our entry.

The difference for me is Nemo’s song had really authentic meaning, drama and emotion, and lots of obviously impressive vocal acrobatics.

WasOur song seems to be mock horror at losing your shoe on a night out.
I'm not a huge fan of either, and I totally agree it doesn't come off favourably in a comparison! People did describe Nemo as a mess and trying to be everything at once in terms of the structure though.

I think a lot of people said this about Nemo...

Nemo’s The Code had winner written all over it. Great vocals, different enough to stand out but still immediately catchy, epic sounding, heartfelt and inspirational message that people could easily rally behind. All of these elements were then magnified to the absolute max through an incredibly unique staging concept and performance.

What The Hell Just Happened is a song about getting drunk and doing stupid stuff. Yes it’s a relatable experience but it feels like such a dated message for a song. I can’t think of any staging concept that will elevate it beyond fun, silly, and throwaway. Maybe that’s the plan though. While the world is the way it is perhaps a message about forgetting your troubles by getting drunk and doing stupid stuff will resonate. And I guess Europe does view the UK as binge drinking louts so maybe contrasting that image by having a trio of nice looking and well put together girls playing up to that stereotype, while delivering killer vocals will be seen as funny and likeable.

Did I just talk myself into liking it?

When you go back to what David May said he was looking for:

“We're seeking talent and a song that embodies the essence of UK music. We want to collaborate with an authentic act who has a genuine, heartfelt story to tell, and an unmatched vocal tonality and range. Ultimately we're looking for a powerful three-minute performance that resonates with and moves audiences across Europe and beyond”

…it feels like they got the unmatched vocal tonality and range but then forgot the genuine heartfelt story part.

Yes this doesn't move any audience does it? I mean as I've said I like it, but it's not what they said they were aiming for song wise (I maintain they should have just gone with Prove Me Right or something similar).

I think a lot of people said this about Nemo...
Birmingham 2026 here we come then.

I actually like it a lot more on repeat listens but think it’s a hard sell to those hearing it for the first time.

The BBC / EBU need to clear up this Kant ban & complaint as there seems to be a lot of bad will towards the girls from Malta for no reason.

One thing that could work in its favour is that it's in its own lane. If you are a fan of musicals, this is going to be your favourite and you're likely to vote. You can't appeal to everyone at Eurovision so being a bit more intentional here could help.

I do believe they are going to give a vocal that demands people's attention.

This song is horrible. It's like they took inspiration from Xenomania by mashing several separate pieces into one song, but then forgot to make it all cohesive.
Finally someone said it. They seem game for a good time which is great but…

I can't unthink their name as being Suddenly Monday (which also just rolls off the tongue better)

It's a no from me, I think. Listening to various other entries, props for trying to sound different, but if a non-Big 5 country sent this I'd fully expect an NQ.

Watch it smash now.
