  1. Made a thread as there wasn't an existing one already.

The six hopefuls for You Decide will be revealed from now until midday today on BBC Radio 2 and will also be posted on the official BBC Eurovision website.

You Decide will air live this Friday from 7:30pm on BBC 2.

  2. So Freedom Hearts is nice enough but feels like it needs something more in the chorus. Falls a little flat until the final chorus with the adlibs. A good start but doesn't sound like a winner.
  3. I hope we get some poppers o'clock and maybe some songs by artists we actually know! Frustrates me that countries like Sweden send their top artists and we send Sam from the local chippy.
  4. First song is shit. NEXT.

  5. Olivia Garcia was on X Factor this year, I thought she was pretty good.
  6. Olivia Garcia was a judge's houses reject from this year's XFactor. Nice girl, good voice, song is interesting but seems to be lacking something and ends up being a bit dull. It's a bit Children of the Universe in that respect to me, I keep waiting for it to pop off and have the 'wow' bit, but it doesn't really build.

  7. Second song has a good chorus but verses are bland.
  8. Freedom Hearts isn't bad, might be a grower?
  9. Which is exactly what you want from a competition based mainly on a one off performance!

  10. Second song is blah though the girl has a great voice. Though I'd say both songs revealed so far are much better than all options last year.
  11. Good Point! Next song!

  12. Song 2 - Ok, nice but not enough.
  13. I Wish I Loved You More was nice enough too, but still not what we need to be sending.

The calibre of songs does sound better than last year so far though.
  14. First two songs are run of the mill Azerbaijani bought-in entries.. nice but we need better.
  15. To be fair we could send Adele and we'd still come last after brexit.
  16. Lucie Jones from X-Factor is the 3rd entry.

    The best so far.
  17. I expected a lot more from an Emmelie de Forest penned entry.
  18. 3 down and 3 ballads. Bring back Scooch.
