UK Politics: Misery, The Sequel

Corbyn was naturally sceptical of the EU, but on balance would prefer to stay in, particularly at risk of a Tory Brexit. But he was basically offering a soft Brexit in the 2017 manifesto. Then Keir Starmer changed the policy on the hoof

A lot of the pro second ref groups that sprang up seem to have been astroturf groups. Roland Rudd, Amber’s brother ran Open Britain and tried to impose Patrick Heneghan as campaign director (Heneghan was one of the exposed racist Labour staff) I for one was carried away at the time, with all these people promising that remain would easily

Keir Starmer was also lead negotiator when Theresa May’s deal wasn’t going through. He didn’t engage with the process when there was a chance a deal could be reached, he even rejected a proposal from May’s team when they’d just copied and pasted Labour’s plan:

He’s a gutless liar with no principles who is one of the most responsible for the hard Brexit we got, because he wanted to become Labour leader. No one should ever trust him.

I never liked him. Vaccine Minister?
"This newly created political role requires you to take all the Credit in the media for the rollout of the Covid vaccinations but don't worry as the "actual" work for this will be carried out by people who already have jobs in the NHS. This job has been created as the UK public do not trust Matt Hancock at the moment"

I don't know if it's a direct consequence of the Tories just repeatedly fucking over public sector services to line their own pockets, but I went to a movie last week and amongst all the usual garb, there were separate recruitment ads for the police, the NHS, teachers, and two different army ones.

That's pretty gross. Leave me alone I'm trying to watch a movie here! Christ.

I would like to believe that BoJo is a has-been now but because he's so corruptible unfortunately people will put him in positions of responsibility so they can use him for their own benefit...so sad!
