In my list, this was probably the most recent discovery out of all picks. I did a discography binge a couple years ago and ended up finding Toni Braxton quite underrated, or at least her later material. "Sposed To Be" is an album track that immediately jumped out. It's peak icy R&B, the production is lush and exquisite, making me feel like I'm transported to a beach in the late evening, watching the sunset with someone I love by my side. My favorite detail is the high-pitched water drop like sample that regularly appears. Toni's smooth and delicate delivery is the cherry on top. All in all, it brings me warm memories of late Spring/Summer 2018, and this song has been a playlist staple ever since. I also mentally change the pronoun in the lyrics so I feel like I can connect with them fff
It helps that the parent album has FINALLY(.mp3) been added to streaming now as an official release so we don’t have to rely on random bootleg uploads!

I was shocked to see the stats going round on Twitter the other day that 'Dance in the Dark' is the least-streamed song on The Fame Monster, so I gave it a few streams and was reminded how much of a monster (pun not intended) of a song it is; Gaga really had 2009 in a vice grip. I'll always love that artwork as well.

'Heartbreak on Vinyl' is one of those songs I always forget about and when it comes on shuffle I'm left completely bald? A 10 for sure.

I need an early night, so I'm going to come back with 7-pointers tomorrow. As it's the longest stretch of single picks on the countdown, only 15 lucky voters will not be parting with their #14 choices. Well, make that 14 voters cause I already know mine is going all the way.

Pretty much a copy + paste from what I said when I sent this to PJ00s: I have heard this quite recently - if compared to the other songs in my list - on a Korean and Japanese recommendation list and when I listened to it for the first time, it truly touched my soul. When she sings AAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI KOOOOOOOOI DAIIIIIIIIIIIIDAIROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NO HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII I'm all

This was labeled as shoegaze and it was when I realized I am actually into the genre? At least Japanese shoegaze.
