  2. Hillegend Duff better appear a good few more times.
  3. Ddddd I love this film. I got a free Emma Roberts keyring inside the DVD box!?

  4. Gotta give to it Berserk’s Boi - An American Werewolf In London is amazing and how well they handled that transformation scene in a movie of its age in the visual effects. Still looks better than 90% of the CGI you get today!

  7. Lynne Ramsay hive!
  8. So agree. There were a few films of that period which demonstrated fantastic pre-CGI effects of "transformations" like An American Werewolf in London, The Howling and Cat People.

The Arrow Limited Edition Blu-Ray of An American Werewolf in London from last year is fantastic.
  9. Well we've had The Lizzie McGuire Movie as well as A Cinderella Story (an absolute classic!!!!). I'd love it if Cadet Kelly showed up but I doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Cheaper By The Dozen or Raise Your Voice though.
Honestly, one of the most terrifying movies I've ever seen. I'll go full in depth #soon.
  10. A Cinderella Story is just so perfect.

Hillary plus Queen Jennifer Coolidge and Queen Regina King, amazing.

  13. Freddy vs Jason was as well one of those formative slashers for me. On re-watching, it is of course a trashy mess but I would be lying if I said I wasn't entertained (perhaps something to do with Monica Keena's outfit having them titties poppin'~~).

Evil Dead remake's pretty awesome! Taste @Music Is Death!!

@DJHazey (5th Movie) - Okay so this could very easily be in my Top 5, but the competition was fierce. I'm down for any movie that involves heists, I have a few in my list and movies like Italian Job just missed the cut. It's shame the ended this rendition of the Ocean's series, when Bernie Mack left us far too soon and the rest of the cast rightfully said that would be the end. Again, it's the 'family' atmosphere you get from a group of people you wouldn't normally peg for this kind of comradery: career criminals. Everyone plays their role perfectly, adds in the right amount of humor with legendary one-liners and scenes, and the interactions between them all are unmatched. Not to mention this cast is *chef's kiss* and unparalleled in my opinion. This series will always be the one that stops me in my tracks when channel-surfing and if it's a weekend day and USA is running another marathon...well the rest of my day is planned. Most people point to Ocean's 11 as the peak and with reason, but I'd argue the ending in 13 is perfection.

  16. Two horror movies (Evil Dead and now Suspiria) where I do something I don't usually do and show my age etc. -- The original are pieces of art and didn't need to be re-done, get off my lawn etc.! Though I'll admit I saw the Evil Dead remake recently and it was legit, never seen the Suspiria remake.
  17. Please check it out! A lot of people seem to agree the remake is even better than the original. Though they're very different and not exactly a remake - more an extension of the story. If you liked movies from this new age of Horror like Hereditary, Midsommar, The Witch etc I think you'll definitely like the new Suspiria.
