It felt like it was over just as it began; that’s how engaged I was. Usher has so many hits, it couldn't have been easy deciding on the set list. But he did an amazing job. What a talent. Definitely one of the greats.

It was a fun show and I was entertained the whole time. The skating section was so fun. I will say the production did feel a little low key when compared to past halftime shows.

I kind of loved that the production felt like a proper old-school halftime show, with the big band, tons of stunts, and less reliance on screens/pyro. There was something so chaotic and fun about it. And Usher was obviously great - he's such a showman, still. One of the best ever. It was a great showcase for his catalog.

There were fun pockets of energy but this was rather mediocre as a whole. It only started to build momentum at the end and then it ended.

Yeah, the tweet I saw said something like “millennial chaos” and that could not be a better descriptor, I think, in an entirely positive manner. Thinking about the sort of unhinged energy performances like that had back then, and the quality of performers we don’t really have today. The stage being a clock… he truly took us back in time.
