I realise she probably thinks herself a bad dancer and wanted to do something different, show off that 'dry' sense of humor she's got (em, more like insulting people then laughing Victioria, huh?), but when I love a song so much, that has a Hi-NRG urgency to it, I like an equally rousing presentation as well. She could have shortened the whole 'acting' angle of it, then just kicked her heels off and danced as manically as consuming less than 300 calories a day can allow you to. The 'break it down' bounce and crotch-grope deflection manouver almost makes up for the lack of vicarious pop thrills.

I love how she's sitting on her thrown and mocking everyone in a bitter manner. It would've been better if she had a martini in her hand. Oh, and if she had long red fingernails and she was wearing dark sunglasses. Sigh ... I like VB styled-up, bitter with a sly smirk on her face. I don't like smiley, bouncy, 'nice' vanilla type girls.

This song should've been no.1 when it came out instead of that horrificly pretentious 'Mad World' cover by whoever it was that covered it.

The video to this fab. Although I don't get the 'crow' scene.

I love the video so much. She fucked up her own campaign with a 'give the public the chance to vote' shit. Of coure the dumb public voted for This Groove, which we all know is piss. But what a song Let Your Head Go is! I love how, in the video, she is flashing her leg to get pap attention and they're ignoring her.

The original version sounds even better! It's really good!

Shame there was never a follow up, I guess she was at her best time as a solo artist in the This Groove / Let Your Head Go era

Victoria Beckham is said to have been delighted to discover that a sample of her track ‘Let Your Head Go’ is being used on a new Ibiza anthem.

The sample from her song is being used by DJ’s Kutting Edge on their popular track ‘Across The Universe’.

Rumour has it that if the ‘Across The Universe’ goes down well Victoria may return to the studio to lay down some more groundbreaking stuff.

A friend of the former Spice Girl said: “Victoria had no idea her vocals were being sampled but she’s over the moon that everyone loves it.

She’s been concentrating on her kids and fashion design business lately after vowing enough was enough with pop.

“Let your head go did do well when it was released three years ago – in fact, it got to number 3 so it’s great that it looks set to repeat the success.

“She’s glad she’s not directly behind the release because she couldn’t face the embarrassment if it flops commercially.

“But if it does do well it will boost her confidence and she’s said she will give a comeback more thought. Singing and dancing was always her first love.â€Â￾

Oh dear could Posh Spice be coming back…already????

Sounds good to me - let's face it, she has such a bad reputation as a singer that if she whacked the world in the face with the best Pop/Urban/Indie crossover ever, it still wouldn't sell.

And Let Your Head Go was ace. I wasn't really liking the other A-side to it at the time though, this groove. I can now hear similarities between that one and Luxurious by Gwen.

That's ALWAYS been her problem with her solo career. She's so obsessed with the press. Emma Bunton doesn't have number 1's but she doesn't quit.
