Victoria Beckham

Hey, guys. It's been almost 20 years since I've been wanting to know the name of this song that plays in the first few seconds here (since it leaked). Would anyone know?

So... I have a question that maybe some of you can help me with.

So it is my understanding that Telstar went bankrupt resulting in no additional VB music coming out.

Recently I've been purchasing VBs physical CDs and I got 'This Groove / Let Your Head Go' in and it says "2003 19 Recordings Ltd. Moody Productions Ltd. Marketed by Telstar Records Ltd. Distributed by BMI UK & Ireland Ltd..."

19 Recordings (at the time) was Simon Fuller's label, they are what Emma Bunton released 'Free Me' on in America.

So … it is my understanding based on the credits that Telstar's bankruptcy wouldn't have affected Victoria's record contract because technically her record contract was with 19/Simon... only her Marketing was done through Telstar.

I know this seems silly and I know we all know that VB just didn't want to release music anymore - but it makes me sad because what was coming through VB2 would've changed the world I feel.

(Also -- Can we take a moment to appreciate VB naming her production company 'moody productions')

I believe it was Telstar that put up the money for her record deal which will have complicated things considerably.

Might be unpopular but this is the better version. It also makes sense since Willa’s whole schtick was being a “bad girl” of pop.

See, comparing both songs, I feel that Victoria’s vocals feel more fuller compared to Willa’s. With Victoria’s version, some of her vocal delivery has more depth and richness and holds some of the notes slightly longer, whereas Willa has that more bubblegum teen-sequel vibe!

Victoria’s take will always be the winner in my opinion (even if it was the wrong single choice)

When Victoria’s unreleased albums leaked - did they both leak at the same time or one before the other? Wikipedia suggests Open Your Eyes material leaked first but I can’t really remember.

Open Your Eyes, the actual demo cd sold on eBay, was leaked some years earlier than Come Together, which was sold on eBay at a later time. But when Open Your Eyes leaked, we obviously already had the “Real Beckhams” tracks, Come Together the song snippet and It’s That Simple

Open Your Eyes leaked in 2006, Come Together leaked in 2016. I don't think these were ever official titles though? Open Your Eyes consists of the Telstar tracks whilst Come Together is the Damon Dash tracks.
