Victoria Beckham

Agh I forgot about ‘Gone’, a bloody brilliant song, too! I seriously believe that there are more tracks out there belonging to these sessions, as a final track list was never revealed. With so many unreleased songs floating around on line, she has enough material for multiple albums!

She recorded some songs with Bifco and Elliot Kennedy back in 1999 too that are lost in the vaults somewhere:

-Gonna Make You Mine (Stannard/Gallagher/Beckham)
-If I Were You (Stannard/Gallagher/Beckham)
-One 2 Another (Stannard/Gallagher/Themis/Beckham)
-Since I've Been Loving You (Percy/Beckham/Lever/Kennedy)
-This Could Be The Night (Percy/Beckham/Lever/Kennedy)

I am pretty sure that @biff stannard stated that one or at least song of these songs were some of the best Victoria had done and were pure bangers!

Considering she won't even put Let Your Head Go/This Groove on streaming (Pop Activism has confirmed her team have had everything to put it online for three years now) that seems impossible sadly unless they leak from elsewhere. She doesn't seem to really care about fans of her music sadly. I get the impression she's embarrassed about the whole thing and would prefer people forget it even happened which is a shame. She labelled it "a mistake" in 2009 and said it "wasn't the real me" "People never believed the solo singing career — I was a little bit lost at the time"

It’s sad because Out of Your Mind is probably my favorite solo Spice single period. The chart battle between them and Spiller is one of my first pop culture memories…I was devastated when she didn’t get the #1.

I think not getting that number 1 haunts Victoria in the same way not having a solo part in Wannabe does.

I do feel for her in both cases.

Just found out that Victoria Beckham performed her amazing pop classic, ‘Let Your Head Go!’ During the interval period of World Idol!

When you join all of the numbers together from the countries that aired this, the show was watched by an average of 20 million viewers globally.

The irony that this was a singing vocal competition, yet Vicky B mimed and still performed better than the contestants on the show! It’s just a shame that the number of viewers did not translate to record sales too!

I know there is no 'official' track listing, but what track listings do people use for Open Your Eyes and Come Together?

I literally posted the video a couple pages back, haha!

That double A-side deserved so much more. I was obsessed with her back then. Remember when This Groove won the TOTP vote and she premiered it on the show? A moment.

Apologies, I had completely missed this and meant no disrespect.

I had only made the link from another topic on here, when discussing Kelly Clarkson and her appearance at World Idol.

However, it’s always great to showcase videos of Queen Beckham!

Open your eyes was much much better than Come together (sorry but this one was awful and mostly unlistenable).
I can not believe that she recorded OYE and went oh I don't like it let me do these hip hop 2$ rejects.
This groove was good but it was more popy than full rnb/hip-hop.

No need to apologise! Just thought it was funny we both shared that video. I’m loving the recent resurgence of this topic!

All this VB talk has led me to dust off my iTunes this morning and upload both albums to my phone ahead of a week-long work trip. Ready to indulge in all the greatness!

I think the best “Come Together” tracks are the ones in their finished versions on “The Real Beckhams” EP. I just wish she went ahead with “My Love Is For Real” and released a twelve tracks album out of “Open Your Eyes” with “This Groove” as a bonus track
