I've been rune farming that big dragon in Caelid whenever I cheaply lose a ton of runes, but I accidentally killed it this most recent time. So now I'm fucked and can't fight FormSoftware back nn.
You totally nailed that description. The game is one of the rare JRPGs that perfectly balances a default difficulty. So many are braindead easy by default recently (Persona 5 Royal). Finally beat that Chapter 4 boss in Tokyo Mirage Sessions and only had to grind for a couple levels. It's those brutal spells that target everyone that kept messing me up. The boss starts doing that after its weakness shifts to physical attacks. I really like how the bosses are challenging without being straight up brutal or cheap. It feels like the game has the perfect difficulty balance for a gamer like me.
On another note, I kind of want to pick up Atelier Ryza 1 and 2. The Atelier games always looked very unappealing to me but I saw reviews on these two and thought they looked quite good! Ryza 2's battle system looks pretty thrilling.
Also, Blue Reflection: Second Light looks quite interesting, with a ghostly visual style/atmosphere and cool looking combat, but the fan servicey vibe is kind of a turn off.

How do you respawn it? I've read you can but no one explained exactly how. I wanted to go to that abandoned cave to get to Golden Scarab before trying this but the scarlet rot is awful there, I die before reaching the boss.I've been rune farming that big dragon in Caelid whenever I cheaply lose a ton of runes, but I accidentally killed it this most recent time. Right when it twitches (aka "dies") you get on your horse and run to the nearby grace. This most recent time I didn't make it in time nn.How do you respawn it? Thanks! Ugh that sucks. That is why before I test something I always upload my save on PS cloud storage and I just upload it again if I fail. I mean, I hate to waste cracked pots on a boss for example if they are not going to work. Which by the way, I only have Bloodbrne to compare Elden Ring with, but I wish FromSoftware kept the option where items you can buy are not limited. Put 100 000 runes if you want as a price but don't limit some neat item to 5 in stock for example.Right when it twitches (aka "dies") you get on your horse and run to the nearby grace. Lego Star Wars is…cute…and a bit of a mess? it feels really awkwardly paced in terms of level by level stuff. Like why is more than half of Empire Strikes Back basically the opening act? The number of levels that are basically just boss battles that make going for minikits/true Jedi really awkward.
It’s a game weirdly at odds with itself, right down to it not really feeling co-op friendly anymore and the skill trees and combat feeling both overstuffed and way too shallow
