Kind of interesting that Bungie have some level of project oversight on Sony's live service/multiplayer plans. Didn't expect that level of power when they were bought

Sony was killing it so effortlessly in terms of exclusives for years, it's wild how much they seem to be stumbling now. The shift into live service games really did a number on the industry.

I think the live service push will be short lived. Sony are smart and have amazing teams. I can't see them throwing that away.

Really hopeful we see Hellblade 2 and Avowed at the Xbox Showcase. Really want to see what AA developers can do with a heavy budget

Ehhh Sony will be fine, they’ll continue to release single player games which will sell bucket loads, be critically acclaimed, and help move PS5s which they’re already doing this generation.


They just need some new IP and not rely on sequels which is definitely coming as Cory Barlow (Santa Monica) has been busy developing a new IP.

I’m pretty sure some of their new studios are working on single player games too. One of them (Firesprite?, it’s definitely one that begins with a f) is working on a horror game

Gone back to AC Valhalla now I have the PS5 version. There are so many new additions since last I played. Still adore this game. Maybe because of the Viking aspect and how much my heritage has roots in it.

I finally watched the gameplay trailer for Spider-Man 2 today and...holy shit it looks so fucking amazing!! I'm so excited for that game. I'm so invested in it already. I need to get a PS5 still but it shouldn't be too hard to save up and get one before release.
Is there a chance Sony will put out a Spider-Man themed PS5 with the game?

There haven't been any special/themed PS5 editions so far, so I'd say that's pretty unlikely.

The fact that any new outfits will probably be locked behind a battle pass is depressing a little bit! But thankfully I'm maining Manon so I'm well fed for now.
