Supporting characters are a bit amusing. Main characters never do get interesting, which is one of the game's biggest problems.

Battle system is fun, but the best thing about the gameplay are the dungeons and overall exploration. Dungeons are clever and they feel fast and fluid, almost like platforming levels. Which makes sense since the developer's first game was an action-packed Metroidvania.

I'm flying through L.A. Noire and I'm targeting Star Wars Outlaws next because it's on the Black Friday Sale plus it's the most different from my most recent games just to change things up a bitsy. Mama Hazey asked what games I wanted for Christmas and I said Dragon Age and Metaphor, so I'll be all set there.

I gave it a chance about 2 years ago and I was impressed how good it looks even today. I wonder if those rumors about a remake are true, it definitely doesn't need it. They could remake the first game, make the story and Altaire as a character more fleshed out, but Black Flag would be unecessary.

I'd love a remake honestly, some of the controls feel a bit too clunky and the naval stuff could be sharper. But overall it's one of my favourite games of the series. Matt Ryan does an amazing job voicing too.

One of my favourite indie games ever is getting a five year anniversary update



Anyone who enjoys turn-based RPGs should really give it a try, it's so good. It's been a few years since I played it and with the new content I'll be doing another playthrough soon.
