I’m about 12 hours or so into Sea of Stars and it’s… okay. My main complaint is that it all feels really linear and the combat is a little dull. That being said it’s looks gorgeous and hits all the right notes of nostalgia. I’ll probably put it down for a bit (and start Dragon Age) but aim to complete it over Christmas!

I enjoyed the game quite a bit, but those JRPG fans who were claiming Sea of Star was GOTY material were trippin. Like, an RPG can be good even with a mediocre story, but it sure cannot be GOTY.

Infinity Nikki ENDED Wuthering Waves and Genshit for me.
Easily the most gorgeous open world game i've ever seen.... it's so pretty that I can't stop playing it!

Also, slay a bit Miss J!

I was hoping tis would be on Switch, but it's not so I'm hoping to play it on iOS but I keep forgetting to download it. It looks gorgeous.

If anyone needs an injection of nostalgia and serotonin, I highly recommend checking out RetroMags. I found it yesterday because I was looking for old Nintendo Power issues, and they have it's entire publication history archived, among a bunch of other gaming magazines from all over the world. I saw the UK Nintendo and Playstation magazines listed as well. Sorry in advance if you end up losing hours of your day to this xoxo

For the Soul Reaver remaster they really just added some noise to the textures, replaced the character models and sent clicked upload. Definitely had higher expectations from Aspyr after the Tomb Raider remasters.

The KOTOR and Battlefront remasters were insultingly poor, so I can imagine that they struck gold with hiring Timur Gagiev for Tomb Raider.

I wanted to love this game so much, it is probably the prettiest one I've played, but I found it so tedious. All the missions were the same, I have tried twice and have given up a dozen of hours in.
I really enjoy the combat, so it encouraged me to get all the stances which changes it up. I’m in act 2 and loving it.

Welp Marvel Rivals has me by the throat. I know next to nothing about MCU but do have a soft spot for X-Men so I wasn't anticipating stanning like this but the game adhering more to the comic book style has really helped endear me to it. The roster is incredibly dynamic and while there are some busted moves, it doesn't feel like any single character monopolizes individual matches.

Peni Parker, Cloak & Dagger and Luna Snow are my mains right now but fucking Spider-Man and Captain America and so fun to play to my chagrin. Bye Overwatch nn.

Agreed. Plus, the story is great, especially the stories of Jin's friends. I completed everything, even collectables, following the wind was not that annoying actually.

I'm tempted to give it a shot, I gave up on Overwatch a while ago though and haven't really gotten the itch to play anything competitive since. My hope is this game would have more people on mics, because competitive gaming is boring to me pretty quickly unless I'm on a squad that is all talking in game.

My partner was holding on with Overwatch until Rivals launch day but I'm in the same boat as you, I gave up and it stopped even looking fun when he'd play. In my experience the in-game chat function kinda sucks but there are the resources to ping and give alerts like Overwatch eventually added to offset it for what it's worth.

It’s weird that it’s not on switch because I could have SWORN I saw it first on a Nintendo direct???????? Mandela effect? Or maybe it was a State of Play….

Jessie J aurally assaulting me for the 8 minutes it took for Infinity Nikki to compile shaders.
