I’ve never played an Atelier game, but Atelier Yumia has surfaced on my radar. Anyone have general impressions? The combat looks Tales-like.
Atelier Ryza was the perfect combination of cozy and deep. Story was a little weak, but it had its moments. Overall, I loved it and wish I didn’t lose my progress.

The combat in the earlier Atelier games (Arland, Dusk, Mysterious) was never fun for me, but with the Ryza series they changed it and, FOR ME, it was a lot more fun. Yumia seems to be continuing that new combat style and I already have it preordered, so definitely looking forward to it.

Sounds like I might enjoy it! I don’t really care if these sorts of games have a “meh” story, as long as the combat is fun and the characters aren’t overly annoying. I’ll add it to my queue after I finish Rebirth (on the second to last chapter) and Metaphor (a little more than halfway through—I think?).

Just found out there's a new Overboard! game coming next week! Such a cool surprise, the first one was absolutely iconic and this looks super fun too

Scream, this is off to a good start

Finally got myself a PC so I can be a PC gamer again after running on only consoles for the last like 15 years.
Already looking at my steam backlog like... damn, where do I even start?

Probably should continue Baldurs Gate 3. it was fun on steam deck but I feel like it'd be easier to manage on PC.
Any other PC titles I should check out? (Ill pass if its free on PSN because i'd rather just play it on ps5 if that's the case than pay for something on pc)

Final Fantasy 10/10.2 remaster is currently £9.99 on the PlayStation Network and I’m so tempted, I played 10 on the PS2 back in the day but never completed it, I recall the game taking a good while to get into but I recall enjoying it, can anyone who’s played the remaster recommend whether it’s worth it or not? Reviews seem positive, but I see they never added the option to skip cut scenes which I recall being a nuisance even back in 2003.

Yeah it's so worth it, a fantastic update of two of the very best games ever. I don't really see not being able to skip cutscenes as a huge deal, at worst it just means you might waste a few minutes rewatching them when retrying certain boss battles, which hardly seems like a reason not to play a game.

Anyone else playing Two Point: Museum? They've managed to finally perfect the formula of Hospital and Campus, it's such a brilliant little management game. It's giving everything Planet Coaster 2 failed to deliver on.

Definitely not a dealbreaker, but I do find myself wondering why such a simple feature couldn't have been introduced. It only mattered during the Yunalesca and Seymour Flux boss fights though.
