I don't think I've had too bad a year to be fair. I've sold a few vinyls to make space for the new ones I bought, and I've been more selective in terms of choosing just one, maybe two variant of pressing, rather than going for all of them (sorry Kylie- Tension, but you made me do this)

I also don't think I've got any pre-orders at the moment! Which is a first for a very long time!

Wish I liked the album more, but I got the Blood Records sand filled sleeve for Declan McKenna's latest, got a hidden penny in the sand and a secret flexi stuck in the gatefold.

Also happy to have my first liquid filled record, even if I'm constantly worried about it leaking.

Feels obvious, but I really loved Brat and all its variants. Also the score to The Substance, which was similar to Brat in that it had to be “destroyed” to open it.

What's been everyone's favourite pressing/packaging this year?

For new albums, Taylor’s 4 variants with the book in the gatefold and spot gloss details for the cover photos were nice. Also really appreciated Quantum Baby being Tinashe’s best physical package of her career so far!

Reissue wise, very happy for the Mariah Music Box and Merry Christmas 30th anniversary editions!

The Saltburn Bad World "Bathwater" Vinyl.

It plays great and the bathwater liquid is so cool in it.

It’s sad the final product is so bare bones. Just a single sleeve with the three records. I kind of expected a triple gatefold like the Charli remix album got or something.

Feel like eBay is the best option these days, I still leave all mine on Discogs because I'm lazy.

I just sell at my local shops (not sure if @aaronhansome has picked any of them up dd). Mainly because I’m terrified of shipping anything out and I’m also impatient from a financial standpoint, even though I get about 30% less than what I might get if I did sell online.

I was using Vinted quite a bit before eBay removed the fees, the only downside in comparison to eBay is that you don’t get paid until the buyer confirms they have the order and everything’s ok. If they don’t respond within 3 days you do still get the money but then you’d be waiting all that time.

That said everyone I’ve sold to confirmed all ok the same day they received it.
