This is being advertised in Australia as the "new Game of Thrones". Not sure whether that's a good or bad thing because the heightened expectation could mean people are disappointed.

I'll certainly give it a go though. Not sure why, but the promo image that's been used gives me The Cell teas.

Loved the pilot!!!! This has easily been my most anticipated TV series of this year & it got off to such a strong start. Such an exciting world and group of characters to get thrown into. Hope the rest of the season retains the quality; the trailers sure make it seem that's the case.

Evan Rachel Wood was incredible. She had to portray many layers for that role. I also thought the twist

with James Marsden at the beginning was very well done. I suspect some of the members of the team running Westworld are robots themselves.

The last shot of the episode was also perfect.

This is a JJ Abrams thing, isn't it...I seem to watch most of his stuff eventually. How many episodes is this? ie do I try and Sky record it every week, or just wait for the Blu-Ray?

That was brilliant, I eagerly await the next episode. I love the movie and had concerns I wouldn't warm to this in the same way but it's everything you could want and more.

I'm not sold on the opening theme, it sounds like a Game of Thrones-style remix of Downton Abbey, but the score is perfect and atmospheric and the whole thing has been shot beautifully.
