Whitney Houston

Yeah, I watched the rest today and it still felt like a catalogue of moments in Whitney's life. The end was poignant though and it filled me with sadness at what a generational talent she was and how early we lost her. I will say though, while Naomi did a great job, she didn't give Whitney. Those few shots of the actual Whitney during the credits were revelatory, she really was incredibly magnetic and powerful, you couldn't help but stare at her. It kind of was the best part of the film. God I miss her.

Am I right in thinking that the gospel CD isn’t getting a UK release? It doesn’t seem to be listed in any of the main retailers in the UK and Ireland.

Anyone know what the deal is with the Mobile Fidelity Whitney reissue? I pre-ordered months ago and have yet to even find a release date for it which is super weird.

Didn't know there was a dvd coming out...

Just had a very pleasant hour in the sun with some of the remixes from the My Love Is Your Love era - surely one of the greatest album eras ever in terms of its remixes ?! I got my life to the Junior Vasquez remixes of I Learned From The Best , and of course there’s the amazing Jonathan Peters remixes of My Love Is Your Love and the iconic Thunderpuss take on Its Not Right But It’s OK- I’ll be dancing for days !!

I agree, the My Love Is Your Love was an amazing era of remixes galore. No wonder the album and singles did so well and she crossed over to so many genres. Her most successful in that respect I think.
