Wicked

No Good Deed is a really good song though.

They will def end part 1 with Defying Gravity. Makes sense since there is also a time jump after that.

Guess they might have written a couple of more songs. In the end people will be hooked after part 1 and run to see part 2 even if it‘s not as good. It‘s all about the money but let‘s see.

I love Wicked, and so it kind of bothers me that when I go to rewatch the films after release, i'm going to have to watch 2 whole movies each time I am in a mood for Wicked.

She’s in her Glinda wig there as well, you can see the blonde at points. Her voice is so versatile, she sounds great singing in that more musical theatre style. She’s also clearly worked hard on her enunciation knowing that was/is a concern many had (not that I’ve ever really had trouble understanding anything she sings!)

Ariana's vocals have never been any kind of concern. It's the fact that she can't act.

Very much this. She was absolutely awful every time I've seen her act. Just shockingly bad.

But she sounds glorious in that video. Absolutely stunning.

Why..is this two films again? I saw the show once and beyond thinking the good songs were good, the plot I remember doesn't exactly scream multi-part epic. If anything, what I remember could be reasonably condensed. I'm actively not looking the plot back up though because...I can't be arsed so maybe I'm misremembering.
