will.i.am - “Mind Your Business” (with Britney Spears) + General Discussion

Most of 'The Club' songs are pretty damn gay these days, clubs have never played Britney because of the massive gay stigma to her name.

I do miss the days of 2007 when that stigma had vanished because she was 'crazy' and it became a bit subversive and 'cool' to like Britney Spears. Every time 'It's Britney Bitch' sounded in a straight club, it'd always get a cheer - there's just something about it.

I remember I heard the Paul Oakenfold remix of Gimme More a lot.

I can just imagine this being most of us.

Seriously though, I think I do actually like this. It's impossible to resist Britishney.

Are we sure it's actually Britishney and not Britney's pitched turned down low?

Well...yeah. It's obvious she's playing up a British accent, is it not? Maybe true British ears can't hear it as well as an American. (This isn't sarcasm, by the way)

Somehow I actually kinda like this mess of a song, dunno why. But is Britney really on it? Why did they manipulate her voice to sound so deep? It's all very weird. Ok we know she can't really sing and it's all the magic of computers, but atleast up until now they still wanted her voice to be recognizable but this? haha. But still though, it's odd and I kinda like it :)

Some parts do sound a bit not-Britney to me, hopefully seeing her mime it in the video will convince me otherwise. As if it definitely is her doing the accent, that's genius.

That sounds like you're trolling.

Ehm how? The supposed 'Britney' rap-talking on this sounds like a very deep voiced person (in British accent aswell hehe)

They didn't.

Oh, so you were in the studio with will.i.am and Brit then? If that deep voice is Britney's voice, it's pretty apparent they put some weird effect on her voice.

Ok, we all know she is not the best singer in the world, but she definitely can sing.

How come she never does it then? Lip-syncing with no dancing = definitely can sing?

Anyways, I'm ready to shake my booty in the club to this robot-man-Britney voice... it's quite hilarious and the song is oddly effective.

The phrase "your fave could never" has never been so apt. Your fave could never. NEVER.

Take another listen to Cake Like Lady Gaga and get a reality check, sweetcheeks. It's been an awful year.
