This will be a rough listen this year.

    Euphoria and Runawaywithme like this.
  3. Taylor Swift - Red is always the go to winter listen for me.

    Ke$ha's Deconstructed EP is also a good'en.

  4. As I received Girls Aloud's last 3 studio albums as Christmas presents in 2005/7/8, these albums remind me of listening to them on Christmas evening and during the rest of the school holidays. Chemistry has particularly strong 'Christmas' associations for me, and no I didn't receive the Christmas edition of the album!

  5. Love Is Stronger Than Pride IS the eternal winter album ever.
Sade 1988. Nothing can be compared to this winter.

  7. Tease and Dares by Kim Wilde always sounds and feels like a winter album to me. It's quite a synth based album and the production just gives me the visual feeling of winter from The Touch all the way through To Thought It Was Goodbye.

Album for all seasons (the best ever I think) but especially worth listening to today, with the rain pelting down and the horrific events in Paris.

  9. All 3 Spice Girls albums. This song especially.

  10. [IMG]

    Portishead - Third

Subtle, creepy, abrasive and melancholic at the same time.A nightmarish soundtrack for sure but it is such a ride.

I fucking love Hejira by the way.It is a great choice for this season.

Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now
    Perfume Genius - Too Bright
Sufjan Stevens - Carrie and Lowell
PJ Harvey - Let England Shake
Sky Ferreira - Night Time, My Time
    Emilie Nicolas - Like I'm A Warrior

  15. KAG

These were the albums I was loving around this time last year:

    Destiny's Child - Destiny Fulfilled
    One Direction - FOUR
    Jessie Ware - Tough Love
    Madonna - Bedtime Stories
    Kylie Minogue - Body Language

Most of Mariah's albums are great for winter. Soul/R&B in general, is very comforting for this season.

  16. Annie Lennox - Medusa
Belle & Sebastian - The Life Pursuit
Cyndi Lauper - The Body Acoustic
Donna Lewis - Now In A Minute
    Duffy - Rockferry
Fiona Apple - When The Pawn...
    Fleetwood Mac - Tusk
    Jeff Buckley - Grace
    Jessie Ware - Devotion
    Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes
    Massive Attack - Mezzanine
    Rhye - Woman
Sia - Some People Have Real Problems

    And anything by Alanis Morissette.

  17. Same for me. I listened to "The Loving Kind all winter; it reminds me of Christmas. I remember going out and buying different colored tights that fall right after "Up" came out.

  18. I always get super obsessed with the RENT OBC/OST for winter, for obvious reasons.

    As well as:
    Sara Bareilles The Blessed Unrest
    Hurts Exile
Digital Daggers Close Your Eyes and The Devil Within
