That audio fake feels like the testing bed for a new type of Israeli propaganda, doesn't it.

They've traditionally been very good at throwing enough shit at the wall that it sticks, but in an age of social media where unverified stuff is spread quickly by journalists and talking heads desperate for engagement, by the time something has been proven to be false it's already way too late.

They got Biden to explicitly "confirm" the 40 beheaded babies that later proved to be fake news.

There was a time - back in 1993 (Oslo Treaty) that I thought (in my lifetime) we had more chance of a resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict than the "troubles" in Northern Ireland...now 30 years later - how wrong was I?

If you ever get a chance to visit Northern Ireland in your lifetime - then please go! It's a lovely place to visit now!
Yes - every now and then there are isolated incidents of violence but on the whole - both sides want/live in peace now - especially the younger generation!

The failure of the leaderships of Israel/Palestine over the last 30 years has been a disaster for the younger generation who live on either side of this conflict. A two state solution is long overdue - both sides have to compromise for peace. The next generation of leaders need to acknowledge that. Otherwise nothing will change - except more people will die - on both sides - that is a certainty for sure!

As a gay man with a Muslim background who has many gay/straight Jewish friends - we always pray and hope that there will be a political solution to this conflict. It's been going on for far too long!

Looks like Argentina's got a big day ahead with another "far-right populist shakes things up!" election tomorrow. Reuters says it will likely go to runoff between Massa and Milei. How are things down there this weekend, Argentina?
