Looks like Iran have sufficiently saturated their missile attack to get substantial numbers through the Iron Dome and other Israeli defence systems.
I think usually the Iron Dome takes out 90%+ of rockets fired into Israel from Hamas and Hezbollah, other than those very close to the border it doesn't have time to intercept.
Given the isolation/unpopularity of the Iranian regime in the region, will be interesting to see what Jordan, Saudi Arabia etc... say in response.
But assuming Netanyahu does his usual warmongering scorched earth approach in response, this could get very scary very quickly.
The Israeli governments absolute lack of any serious strategy beyond blow up everything and everyone was terrifying enough, but is even more unfathomable when the dismantling of Hezbollah leadership provided a small but genuine opportunity for progress to stabilise Lebanon and (as the Jordanians I think it was were saying) start to move towards the design of some structure for peace talks. But I suppose we all know Netanyahu is not interested in a two state solution and neither are those who prop him up in power.
