I love the Sequel album, the SAW track really sounds like the US Mel & Kim.
Just from the opening track I was like “when is Cherry Red going to reissue this” and turns out they already did in 2012?!? Ahead of their time nn. Can’t find any links so I assume it went OOP.
I think it took forever to sell out. Seemed to be on clearance for years. Doubt it will ever get another outing.
I had a feeling because this is the first time I’ve seen anything about them, and I frequently perused the Comeback Corner and constantly hunted for 80s music suggestions nn.
Welp, gonna have to sort through eBay I guess.
Now selling for over £150 second hand. I bought it when it came out but i sold it sadly only for a few quid.
The original album (without bonus tracks) is on streaming, if that's any help.
Just listened and bopped. Would’ve been interesting to hear the remixes/edits.
Also, I saw they had released “It’s Not Too Late” in 2012 and wondering if the b-side is from the album era or not.
I want the CD but the prices are....well over $300 NZ.

The only one that's real is the one where they're lying on a gold X, but for some reason various digital outlets have different versions of the album uploaded with truly awful covers.

I want a documentary about these artistic decisions. The "why did I come into this room?" one takes the cake, but lord...
I am too Rocky Mountain to know who Nicki French is, but it's impressive to see such a breadth of visual shit. It makes me wonder if I missed a trick by not doing album art as a side gig in high school. Case in point: the below custom album artwork I made for a Christmas compilation disc for my mom who I got to stan three of my faves circa 2014. What a time...
