Can people please stop this nonsense about wanting Simon back.

Has everyone forgotten just how terrible he was for his last few years on both X Factor and A1? I'd prefer Louis stayed than Simon returned.

Hopefully Nicole will stay, Danni will return and we get 2 knew men. Or (gasp) Mel B joins as well and we have 1 male judge.

Yeah I think it'd be good to have a previous contestant on the panel and I think he'd be best.

In regards to Dannii, I'd love Dannii to come back but the Australian X-Factor is the only one that still makes pop stars so I'd rather she was there focusing on real talent rather than the karaoke fest we've had here the last 2 years.

And completely unjust and disgusting. Sharon may have improved upon her return but she was no where close to Dannii's level.

Seeing those kinds of videos makes me laugh about Sharon and Kelly screaming their boohoos at the top,of their lungs during the whole GaGa/bullying spiel.

I like Sharon, but that is a very disturbing video to watch. In fact, I think television has moved on so much even since 2007, that I don't think either Sharon OR Graham would be able to get away with that kind of thing nowadays.

And it is absolutely laced with irony that Dannii blossomed into one of the most popular women in the country and was apart of X Factor's three most iconic years. Sharon, meanwhile, was present for the five least watched series in X Factor history.

Honestly, I think Simon's drip-feeding of little hints to the media about 'possibly' coming back has created the illusion that there's actually a demand for it. I'm not convinced there is.

The same applies to the endless shots of him getting his saggy man-boobs out on the beach.

Didn't Simon say he wanted to do another series of X Factor USA? I would have said Robbie Williams was the perfect replacement for Gary, but then again, Robbie is also a member of the band Take That.

How about Elton John? If he appeared on the final, he must be a friend of the show. I'm sure he could bundle together a shit album for mums and grandmas to push for next year's 4th quarter. He'd surely have enough pulling power for the ratings to improve, just depends if they could afford his wages.

He was fucking terrible for years.

he somehow created the idea that he was some kind of musical mastermind with his finger on the pulse when all he ever was is a smarmy opportunist with little to no musical knowledge and a huge ego. The only reason he discovered any talent is because he has the vast Idol/X Factor machine doing all the work. Anyone can pick a few winners when then are literally placed in front of you.

It was so clear by the end that he was bored stiff. Whereas at the beginning his honesty was somewhat refreshing by the time he left he was just downright rude and repeated the same cliched phrases over and over again.

Lest we forget this isn't the man who gave Kelly, Leona, Fantasia, Carrie and Alexandra to the world it's the man who unleashed Zig and Zag, Robson and Jerome and Il Divo.

If he is the saviour of the show then it really is doomed.
