OMG, this show. Did anyone catch that it was Happy Nation in the first episode?
Fuck my life! This show is so meticulously produced, it’s insane. That vision is more chilling now.

Leech saying 'Magneto promised Leech would never be scared again' and then seconds later hugging Magneto while he tries to protect the Morlocks is just devastating television.
This scene tells everything within seconds. Just recapping it breaks me. Genius writting.
They well definitely fix some of this with time travel. I bet some others will die to balance out.Wait the series went from like 30 to a million with that episode. Holy fuck? The best portrayal of Gambit.. ever? I'm floored. I honestly hope it's not a "time travel fixes everything" scenario.
I think it was “I can’t feel you”.In regards to
Rogue's last words, were they "I can't feel you" or "I can't heal you"? Either way it was so heart-breaking and an excellent piece of acting. The fact that she was holding him and their skin was clearly touching kinda proves he was dead though as she can't absorb lifeforce from a corpse. *cries again*
Makes sense, if she can't absorb his powers whilst being so close.I think it was “I can’t feel you”.
Talking of Storm and Gambit; my fave line from the original series:Lifedeath Pt.2 has a lot to live up to but I have faith. I wonder if we will see Storm repowered in it? And if so, maybe we find out that Forge did restore her but she needed something majorly emotional to help her reconnect to her powers. Either whatever the Adversary does to her or seeing what happens on Genosha. Her powers always were closely connected to her emotional state and ran deeper than "she can summon weather".
One thing that I always felt was missing from the animated series was the unique friendship between Storm and Gambit and this seems like a good way to show us that.
It's one of my favourite X-friendships. I like how they seem like they'd have nothing in common, the goddess and the Cajun thief but both have a history of living by stealing and can understand each other in a way nobody else can.Talking of Storm and Gambit; my fave line from the original series:
‘Gambit, the term rec-room does not mean you must wreck it.’
