I hate how unenthusiastic I've become about him. Their debut is still one of my favorites of the last decade, and I loved how cool it all sounded. I even like the sophomore, although it was clear at that point that Olly's more...flamboyant...tastes were starting to overtake the music. This last album though? It all sounds so, so cheap and bland. The only thing I've genuinely liked since Olly took control are "Crave" and his cover of "Outside".

There's something so mid 2000s about this. Something about a pedestrian cover of a dance classic at the tail end of an underperforming album era is giving Dannii Minogue levels of shamelessness.

Like a lot of 90s dance the song itself is completely bulletproof in whatever form it takes, so even if Olly's goat vocal range doesn't have a quarter of the charisma or sexuality of Crystal Waters', I'm still mildly bopping.

(FYI Crystal was the main writer on this so she gets coin from it!)
