  1. A place to recount the times where you thought PopJustice was served.

I'll start us off: Robyn getting to UK#1 with With Every Heartbeat. Still seems as unlikely and impossible a feat as it was then.

  2. You should retitle the thread "Examples of talent always winning"

  3. For some reason I want to say Celine Dion's UK chart run for Think Twice:

  4. But maybe E·MO·TION getting critical acclaim at the very least.

Even though it should have had commercial success, I feel like it very likely could have faded away with no fanfare outside of pop music fans, so at least it's been widely recognized for being amazing.

  7. J.Lo having a commercially successful comeback when she bothered to put out a good album (LOVE?).

I'm listening to it now to drown out the sound of my upstairs neighbor's credible folky-rocky Black Keys-or-some-shit "music."

The huge success of 'Black Magic' has been totally unexpected but thoroughly deserved. It's refreshing to have a girl group, especially one as charismatic, talented and hardworking as Little Mix do phenomenally well in today's market with a genuinely great song.

    Great thread @beyoncésweave!

I'd say the most recent main examples for me are Years & Years properly breaking through and All My Friends scraping into the top 10 in the UK.
