OK, before I set this up I didn't realise you only had 10 options on here.

Still, if this one goes well I can always do more!

Pick up to 3 of these. Gutted that I ran out of options before I could include 'Physical'!

Apologies if your own personal favourites aren't here.

God, this is hard!!! What a list of classic albums!!!!! Nautrally Kylie's self titled album was one I picked 1st. It may not be ground-breaking, but still pure fun all the very same. Love it.

I would vote for Bad and True Blue if they were on the list 'cause I don't care about Thriller and Like A Virgin, so... Control, Faith, She's So Unusual.

Here are some more of my 80s favourites.

Tug Of War - Paul McCartney
Silk & Steel - Five Star
Zazu - Rosie Vela
Xanadu & Footloose soundtracks
diana (1980) - Diana Ross
The Miracle - Queen
ESP - Bee Gees
Sleeping With The Past - Elton John
Hotter Than July - Stevie Wonder
Guilty - Barbra Streisand
A Private Heaven - Sheena Easton
Purple Rain - Prince
The Wanderer, She Works Hard For The Money and ST - Donna Summer
Can't Slow Down - Lionel Richie
Break Out - Pointer Sisters
No Jacket Required - Phil Collins
Be Yourself Tonight - Eurythmics
Super Trouper - Abba

Would definitely have voted for Can't Slow Down or Purple Rain, but none of the others are among my definitive Top 10-20 albums of the 80s. I appreciate how successful and often influential some were, but my tastes are a little off from the mainstream at times.

I think in the UK the top sellers on that list are Thriller and Kylie. Not sure any of the others shifted more than 2 million? Like A Virgin and Whitney Houston are probably next biggest sellers?

EDIT: Yes it seems those are the biggest sellers, with Make It Big also making the decade top 20. Didn't think Whitney Houston had outsold Like A Virgin. I knew Whitney had outsold True Blue. Both Madonna albums felt much bigger to me though.

I was thinking more worldwide. I know Whitney's album sold in the teens of millions in the States alone. I'd guess Like A Virgin and Faith weren't far behind.

I always used to follow the US charts (dear old Record Mirror!), so I often confuse what was big here and in the States.

Madonna's first 3 albums were all massive in the States.
