Wait I agree with this one... You're finally onto something! This is going to be controversial and I wouldn't dare post it in her thread, but Sza's music does absolutely nothing for me, it's... okay. I've listened to CTRL multiple times and then SOS when it was released too, but I honestly couldn't tell you what one Sza song sounds like.

I had to put Ctrl off after 2.5 songs as it was too much nothingy but kept repeating pussy and... Well, it was time for lunch anyway. I listened to SOS a few times and it just doesn't hit... I only like her Big Boys SNL song and All The Stars. Sorry not sorry - I'm into bops!
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to say SZA's music doesn't bop is patently untrue.Wait I agree with this one... You're finally onto something!

I guess it depends on your definition of "bop", but I don't think I'd call practically any of SZA's songs bops, and that has nothing to do with quality, her music is just too mellow. Shirt is probably the one that comes closest, but even that bops pretty mildly.
Don't you think even Kill Bill bops? For me a bop is something that has a groove, something I can snap my fingers to. Seek & Destroy annihilates bussies. Looking down the tracklist, there's nothing that doesn't bop.I guess it depends on your definition of "bop", but I don't think I'd call practically any of SZA's songs bops, and that has nothing to do with quality, her music is just too mellow. Codes was Ellie Gouldings last good song and should of been 1# for weeks on end.
"All the Time" is otherworldly great but I, too, can't call myself a fan for similar reasons.Zara Larson has always been a mediocre popstar besides having a few bops. I think her voice is pretty grating as well.
I’ve never been able to get into The Smiths. I don’t like Morrisey’s voice, and it doesn’t help he’s an asshole. Also, The Smiths are overrated. Morrisey is one of the biggest melody recyclers of all time. I feel like they make the same song over and over and over. It gets exhausting and it makes it hard to sit through a whole The Smiths album.
I love some individual songs by them, but the body of work is so repetitive. Clever lyrics don't change that.
I took all his CDs to the charity shops after he emerged with highly questionable opinions. Listening to Morrisey/The Smiths now makes me feel less than.I’ve never been able to get into The Smiths. I don’t like Morrisey’s voice, and it doesn’t help he’s an asshole.
