'Wannabe' is stil a guilty pleasure. But then, so is 'The Ketchup Song'.

The chorus is amazing, "I said a hey, a hah, a hey, a nenenanenanenanenooonaaa a naaneenaanee ereberenerehehe..."
I said a hey ha a hey a hebby to the hebby mercedes know I'm a hebby and a boogie on the way to the beat.

I despise Cheryl Cole and I adore Girls Aloud (I own all but their first album and own neither of Cheryl's) but Promise This is better than any individual Girls Aloud song.

It could just be because I'm a bit sick of "Someone Like You", but I definitely agree. I also agree with your specification of which version, because the later version where she just speeds through the song ruins it quite a bit.

The entire 'Songs' album I find really quite beautiful and mesmerising. I think it's something which you definitely have to "get", but if you do, it's very rewarding.

An accomplished marriage of teen-angst poetry, classical piano training and folky-pop songs.

I agree 90%.

Promise This is extraordinary, but not THAT good.

I just found out Cheryl sings "If I die before I wake, oh-oh" instead of "If I die before I wake, go on"

My version is better.

Is that true? I always thought it was 'go on' too. 'Oh oh' is shit.
