I’m annoyed that this is when he finally decides to put in the effort for promo, because I don’t think this genre works for him and these two tracks have been pretty forgettable. (I’ve already heard Alienated)

Give me more bedroom anthems Zaddy. When Loves Around deserved.

Never did I think I would be cancelling an order of a signed vinyl from Zayn, but after giving Alienated a few more listens, I can't imagine me ever wanting to sit through an entire record of this stuff.

Genuinely one of my favourite artists, who I'd back through even some of his more lacklustre releases. But this is painful for me to listen to.

The latest stuff is bland guitar music ala Ed Sheeran territory...

Mind of Mine is still a stunning album and wish he finds his drive like that again.

I guess he wants to try something different and to what he's liking at the moment. I have no problems with changing styles, but it has to be good and so far it hasn't...

Yeah, I agree. I actually don't mind this genre, it reminds me a bit of Bruno Major, it can be really good but what Zayn showed so far is not it. Even Noboy Is Listening was a stepdown so it seems he peeked at his first 2 albums.
