Uhm... Is this all spam?

It's not a bad album. It's a new side from him that we're not used to. Here he shows his more English musical influences. It's a nice listen. His voice still is so beautiful and the best from 1D.
Some songs reminded me of The War On Drugs, others reminded me of Paolo Nutini.
i loved the album. the theme was cohesive and i enjoyed the way he was experimenting with his voice to give the effects of sounding drunk or having his face pressed against concrete. zach sang describe this as rnb-folk and i think that's the perfect way to label it.
I really enjoyed the album. It had a cohesive theme, and the way he experimented with his voice to create effects like sounding drunk or having his face pressed against concrete was fascinating. Zach Sang's description of the album as R&B-folk is absolutely spot on.

This album reveals a side of him we haven't seen before, with strong English musical influences. It's a pleasant change, and his voice continues to be as beautiful as ever—still the best among the 1D members. Some tracks had a vibe reminiscent of The War On Drugs, while others reminded me of Paolo Nutini, which was a nice touch.

To echo the bots/not bots, there was a point during some of the songs where I was racking my brain trying to think who he sounded like and landed on Paolo Nutini. Then I was thinking it was years since Paolo released new music, only to discover he released an album in 2022. But I digress.

It's probably the fact that he was so lovely yesterday and I've just got my pic and I'm in a happy little Zayn bubble...
But after giving the record a spin this morning, it is growing on me.

I still find some of the vocal decisions a little jarring, but I can see that it's definitely a more cohesive project than Nobody Is Listening and although a slow-burner, will probably end up having more longevity with me. The single choices are still weird and particularly the lead 'What I Am'.

I'm not. The man worked his way into the top 5 yesterday at Banquet alone. I'm amazed that he was as with it as he was meeting that many people but everyone got a hug and a moment to share something with him. It was quick but it was a nice experience.

The album is growing on me and Fuchsia Sea is by far my favourite at this point.

Currently #2 in the midweeks
That's great for him and deserved for the thousands sold from the signing alone. I still think both of his last albums deserved better, so I'm glad that it seems that Mercury have managed to get him around to embracing his fame/promo a bit and he's clearly in a better space. Can imagine he won't maintain #2, but I'd be pleased for him anywhere in the top 10.
